Bravura Solutions, a supplier of financial software, has boosted its Asia-Pacific operations with the appointment of David Loader to the newly-created position of product manager for life insurance.

He will be responsible for executing the product strategy for Sonata, a wealth management software platform for superannuation, investments, life insurance and wraps.

Loader joins Bravura from BT Financial Group, where he worked in several senior product management roles as part of the retail life insurance team. He has over a decade of experience in the life insurance sector, specializing in retail, group, and direct life insurance.

The appointment will complement the firm’s strategic focus on the life insurance markets of the APAC and EMEA regions.

“David’s wealth of experience will assist us in further strengthening our position in this market,” said Darren Stevens, Bravura director of product management.

“As a result of regulatory pressure, a need to reduce costs and the demands for a digital and mobile experience, we are receiving interest from the life insurance sector, looking to consolidate systems and to modernize and simplify their technology environments.”
