Chubb Insurance Malaysia, formerly known as ACE Jerneh Insurance, has launched a campaign to raise awareness of its rebranding in the metropolitan areas of Penang and Kuala Lumpur.

Tow trucks hauling cars emblazoned with Chubb advertising materials drove around populated areas such as Bukit Bintang, Jalan Ampang, Petaling Street, Merdeka Square, Masjid India, Mutiara Damansara, Subang Taipan and Sunway in Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile, in Penang, these passed by Victoria Street, Upper Beach Street, Fort Cornwallis, Batu Ferringhi, Gurney Drive and Georgetown.

The trucks made stops at popular eating and shopping spots and gave away gifts. An online contest was also held, where winners would receive free fuel vouchers.

“The change of our legal entity name was in line with our ultimate parent company, Chubb Limited’s (formerly known as ACE Limited) name change following the completion of its acquisition of Chubb Corporation in January 2016,” said Steve Crouch, Country President for Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad. “The Chubb name may be new in Malaysia, but our commitment remains the same – to provide our customers, business partners, employees and other stakeholders with superior quality and service that they have learnt to expect.”

Chubb’s Malaysian operations provide a variety of general insurance solutions through its network of 23 branches and over 2,500 agents.
