Chubb names Marcus Giles as APAC direct marketing chief

International insurance group Chubb has appointed Marcus Giles as vice president and regional head of direct marketing for Asia-Pacific. Giles will report to Glen Browne, executive vice president and regional head of accident & health for Asia-Pacific

Giles is an expert in driving growth for consumer-facing businesses and developing the customer experience through unique and innovative products and services. This is Giles’ second stint with the company, having joined ACE, Chubb’s previous incarnation, in 1999. Prior to his return to the company, he was the head of direct marketing for AIA.

Commenting on the appointment, Browne said: “I am very pleased to welcome back Marcus given his in-depth knowledge of the direct marketing business which is evolving rapidly. With a pulse on the vast growth potential in the Asia Pacific region for direct marketing, he will work closely with our business partners to expand revenue and loyalty opportunities so that their customers have access to products tailored to meet their protection needs.”
