Chubb opens office in Guangdong

New location gives company greater access to Southern China market, providing property/casualty and personal lines

Major international insurer Chubb has opened its office in Guangzhou, giving it greater access to the Southern China market. The new branch will provide commercial property and casualty and personal lines products and services.
 
Aside from its Chinese headquarters in Shanghai, Chubb has another branch office in Jiangsu. With the newly opened branch, Chubb furthers its commitment to expanding in the Southern China region. Its key product offerings for Guangdong include property and casualty, marine, construction and energy, financial lines, as well as group and personal accident and health insurance policies.
 
Kevin Bogardus, general manager of Chubb Insurance in China, commented: “Over the past 12 years, Guangdong has been a thriving market for product and policy innovation. With our team of experienced professionals, we have local acumen backed by global expertise to serve the diverse insurance needs across a broad range of industries in this exciting region. In January of this year, ACE Limited acquired Chubb Corporation and relaunched the Chubb brand globally.
