The Singapore branch of Great American Insurance Company has appointed Choi Moon Kee as director for marine and client relationship management. He will be in charge of the strategic management of the firm’s marine insurance underwriting and portfolio management. He will also assist the Singapore branch’s CEO in achieving the company’s growth targets in the Asian market.
 
Choi has over 20 years of experience in South Korea’s marine insurance industry, having handled roles in management, insurance underwriting and claims specializing in cargo/hull as well as casualty and engineering. Before joining Great American Insurance, he was head of marine & channel management at ACE American Fire & Marine Insurance Company in Korea.
 
A loss adjuster certified by the Insurance Supervisory Board, Choi has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Myongji University. He also has a qualification for technical insurance practice issued by the Chartered Insurance Institute, which is equivalent to the CII diploma.
