Independent specialist (re)insurance broker Miller has announced the recruitment of William Seccombe to head its financial lines operations in Asia.

In his new capacity at Miller, Seccombe will be instrumental in assembling a team of financial lines specialists. His mission is to fortify Miller’s offerings in the sector, broadening both the company’s services and its geographical footprint in the competitive Asian market.

Seccombe joins Miller after spearheading the transactional risks division at Lockton in the Asia Pacific, where he played a pivotal role in establishing their regional presence. His career portfolio includes leadership roles at JLT Asia, where he directed the mergers and acquisitions practice, and notable tenures at Willis and Price Forbes.

Seccombe’s international experience also spans the UK, South Africa, and various key Asian financial hubs, providing him with a broad perspective on the global insurance market.

“I am excited to be welcoming William to Miller as we continue to build out our product offering. William’s expertise across financial lines, particularly in transactional liability, will be invaluable to the team as we continue to enhance our core growth strategy to diversify by geography, product line and distribution channel,” Miller Asia head Ron Whyte said.
