Partner Re hires new head of global client & broker management

Appointee transfers over from another global reinsurer and is in charge of managing client needs and broker relationships

International reinsurer PartnerRe has hired Jörg Bruniecki as head of global client & broker management.
 
In the role, Bruniecki will be responsible for PartnerRe providing multinational clients with a cohesive response to their needs, as well as managing the company’s key broker relationships. He will also help in rolling out a consistent and client-focused approach across the organization. He will report to Charles Goldie, a member of the group executive committee.
 
A former head of corporate client and channel management at Munich Re, Bruniecki managed various aspects of client relations, developed sales capabilities worldwide, and developed business for the company’s non-life division in central eastern and southern Europe.
 
He began his career as a property underwriter at Generali Lloyd Versicherung AG, before moving to Munich Re in 2001. He obtained a diploma in Economics and Accounting from the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart and graduated from the Horst K. Jannott scholarship program in cooperation with the Georgia State University, Atlanta.
