Five-star hotel InterContinental Singapore has partnered with insurtech discovermarket in order to provide the first rain insurance coverage, according to a report by Singapore Business Review.
The Rain Resist Bliss Package will provide guests who will book it with a refund that is equivalent to the rate of a single-night room if it rains while they stay in the hotel. Guests will automatically be given a rebate voucher within seven working days if it rains for more than two hours during daylight hours.
Guests who book suite rooms starting from SG$850 per night will be eligible for the package. They will also be able to enjoy additional benefits like a 24/7 butler service and access to the Club InterContinental Lounge.
discovermarket is a global Insurtech firm based in Switzerland with operating entities in Singapore, Vietnam, and Portugal.
InterContinental Singapore is located at the heart of Singapore and is a five-minute drive from the central business district.
