Global consulting and fintech services provider Synechron has appointed Peter Memon as head of emerging technology. Based in New York, he will report to Synechron CEO Faisal Husain.

Memon will bring over 25 years of experience in financial services investment banking, capital markets, and emerging technology. He joins from JP Morgan, where he headed an R&D team that designed next generation technologies. He has also worked for HSBC, Lehman Brothers, and Barclays in various technologically oriented roles.

“As Synechron prepares for its next phase of global growth, Peter’s contributions will be instrumental in positioning Synechron as the leader in the industry with our existing and future stakeholders and as we continue to see where new emerging technologies can take our clients and our business,” commented Husain, who also co-founded Synechron.
