Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) was named as the official insurance sponsor of the 29th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and the 9th ASEAN Para Games, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this year.

According to PAMB, it aims to promote awareness about financial literacy and stability in a family as its members strive to achieve their goals through the sponsorship of the sports events. The insurer will also hold several events to educate Malaysians about the value of proper financial planning and setting of financial goals to help people achieve their dreams.

“As an insurer, our mission is to provide Malaysian families with financial protection and peace of mind throughout their different life stages so they can focus on fulfilling their dreams and aspirations,” PAMB chief executive officer Gan Leong Hin said at his speech at the recent sponsorship presentation ceremony.

Also present at the ceremony were  Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, Malaysian Olympic Council secretary-general Datuk Low Beng Choo, and Malaysian SEA Games Organising Committee chief executive Datuk Seri Zolkples Embong, among others.

“Our goal is to echo the nation’s dream of achieving sporting excellence while educating Malaysians on the practical steps to achieve their dreams,” Gan added.
