Replacement named as business leader resigns after 18 years at the firm

Accident and Health International has announced that CEO of the firm, Peter Banks, has resigned.

Banks, who has been with the business for 18 years, has stepped down to “pursue new opportunities”, the company said in a statement.

Banks will be replaced by current deputy CEO Renato Foenander on an interim basis.

Foenander wished Banks well and stressed that AHI will continue as normal.

“Peter has made a significant contribution to the success of AHI in many roles over an 18-year tenure, most recently as CEO,” Foenander said.

“It will be business as usual for AHI.”

Banks was made CEO of AHI nearly two years ago having worked his way up through the ranks throughout his career with the firm.
