Accident and Health International (AHI) has announced a new CEO for their business.

Danny Byrnes joins the business in the role on May 2, moving from IAG where he most recently led CGU’s national authorised representative strategy.

Byrnes has over 27 years’ experience in the industry, having worked in a number of senior roles for IAG over the course of his career. Byrnes’ experience spans sales, distribution strategy, underwriting and strategic relationships.

Last month, AHI announced that Peter Banks had resigned from his position at the head of the company.

Banks had been with AHI for almost two decades, having been made CEO of the firm two years ago.
