Aon will be hosting its 13th annual Advanced Risk Conference next week in Melbourne.

The event, themed “New World Disorder – exploring ways to improve risk management in an increasingly complex world,” will be held Oct. 10-11 to explore the new driving factors that add urgency and complexity to traditional risks.

The conference will bring together local and international risk thought-leaders to tackle damage to brand and reputation, the top-rated risk globally, as well as cybercrime, social media and hacktivism, risk culture, and managing mental health in the workplace. Some 300 delegates are also expected to hear firsthand how leading companies are managing risks.

In a statement, Aon said that in an era of unprecedented and diverse volatility, risk managers should stay ahead of global trends so they can deal with the local risk environment that's increasingly impacted by interconnectivity and a global economy.
