DUAL Australia has announced a new appointment for their business, alongside several other changes to their claims and underwriting teams.

The underwriting agency has promoted Matthew Korff to the role of national claims manager, taking on the position held by Bernadette Casey, who left the business earlier this month.

In other changes, the business has announced that Craig Wincote will become northern region manager and will be responsible for servicing New South Wales, ACT, Queensland and Northern Territory, while Hamish McDonald-Nye will be responsible for Victoria and Tasmania as southern regional manager.

Michael Ussher will continue to manage Western Australia and South Australia, along with the national business unit, as western regional manager.

Leo Abbruzzo, general manager of DUAL, said that the promotions highlight the strength of the business.

“We're really excited to be promoting within the business again, these changes in our Claims and Underwriting teams will ensure we continue to provide outstanding service to our brokers and clients," Abbruzzo said.

Korff has been with the business for 4 years and the business will continue its claims expansion as it looks to recruit two new claims officers.
