NIBA has announced its state nominees for broker and young broker of the year.

The winner will be announced at the NIBA Convention, to be held in Sydney in September, with regional winners to be announced during a set of gala lunches around the country to be held in May and July.

Last year, Dale Hansen, CEO of Austbrokers Coast to Coast, took home the QBE-sponsored broker of the year prize while Noel Kelly, account manager at Austbrokers AEI, took home the Vero-sponsored young broker of the year.

“Congratulations to all our finalists – it is always a tough call as the calibre of insurance brokers nominated gets higher every year,” NIBA CEO, Dallas Booth said.

“We wish all finalists the best of luck in the national awards.”
