The insurer is calling for repairers to register their interest between Sept. 26 and Oct. 6 in the following locations:
  • South Australia – Adelaide metro, Mount Gambier
  • Western Australia – Perth metro, Albany, Bunbury, Busselton,
  • Tasmania – Hobart metro
  • Northern Territory – Darwin
  • New South Wales – Newcastle, Wollongong and Central Coast
  • Victoria – Bendigo, Ballarat, Albury-Wodonga
  • Queensland – Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba
In a statement, the company said the ASR strategy is part of a broader strategic review of QBE's motor claims division and supports the organisational focus on delivering exceptional customer service and experience.

The RFP submissions will be accepted from Oct. 13 to 27, while the new panel is expected to be in place by March 1. Those who wish to register their interest can visit the QBE website: https://www.qbe.com.au/personal/claim/carchecklist/repair-info.

QBE will finalise the review of its ASR network in remaining rural locations next year.
