Brokers are invited to a free business continuity workshop in which risk managers will speak candidly about what they consider when purchasing insurance for their companies.

As part of Business Continuity Awareness week, information security and operational risk specialist Linus Information Security Solutions is hosting a half day seminar in Melbourne on 19 March. Risk managers will talk about the issues they face on daily basis, specifically relating to finance, government and health.

Saul Midler, Linus managing director, said the seminars would assist brokers in helping their risk manager clients.

“The risk manager is faced with endless options for mitigating unacceptable risks,” he said. “When considering operational risk and the threat of operational disruption, insurance is certainly an option for consideration.”

Highlighting the benefits of the seminar, he added: “The type of policy, amount of coverage and conditions need to meet the specific needs of the organisation. Insurance brokers will gain an insight into the business continuity challenges facing risk managers.”

The seminar will take place in the Felton Room, Melbourne Conference & Training Centre on Collins Street. To register click here.
