Insurance agency Ryan Specialty Group has completed the sale of Doncaster-based Ryan Direct Group (RDG) to KIRS Group.
RDG provides insurance distribution and claims handling services. Its senior leadership team headed by CEO Derek Coles and chief financial officer Scott Hough will continue to lead the business.

The sold firm will now operate under the name Direct Group.
Ryan Specialty Group founder, chairman, and CEO Patrick Ryan said RDG is a strong company that is “a great strategic fit” with its new organisation.
“We are pleased that our Direct Group colleagues are joining a firm that will continue to enhance their opportunities,” he commented.
