Sparke Helmore names new partners

A leading Australian law firm promotes two insurance lawyers and four others to partner

Sparke Helmore Lawyers has promoted insurance lawyers Maxine Feletti and Wes Rose to partner. They commenced on their new role on 1 July.

Canberra-based Feletti joined the firm's State Compensation team in March 2016. She specialisesion common law claims arising from workplace incidents, work health and safety matters, coronial inquests, workplace behavior, and code of conduct matters. 

Felleti also does advisory work on litigated and non-litigated matters, investigations and inquiries, regulatory compliance and audit, risk management, and merits review for government agencies, corporate lawyers, and insurers.

Sydney-based Rose joined Sparke Helmore in December 2013. He advises on construction, property and professional risks across professional indemnity, contract works, contractor all risk, and industrial special risk lines. 

Wes acts for Lloyd's syndicates and local and US-based insurers. He advises on coverage, liability, and recovery prospects under a variety of complex, bespoke project specific and annual policy wordings.

Other lawyers promoted to partner are Ashley Cahif, Holly McAdam, Darren Rankine, and Martin Taylor.
