Auto glass distributor Uniban Canada has renewed its five-year agreement with Intact Financial.

Through the agreement, Uniban Canada serves as Intact’s partner in managing glass claims and administrative services. Intact uses Uniban's claims management technology platform to help reduce operating costs, boost efficiency and productivity, and to streamline the automotive glass claims process.

"We are proud that Intact has renewed the partnership and are committed to continuing our collaborative efforts and the sharing of our knowledge of claims management to improve the claims process,” said Uniban Canada president and CEO Marc Desmarais.

“Our primary objective is to continue to simplify and accelerate the indemnification process in a safe and efficient environment in order to offer customers the most favorable experience during the indemnity period."

Uniban Canada has been in business for more than five decades and currently has more than 320 service centers and 300 mobile units. Its network of banners includes VitroPlus, Ziebart, UniglassPlus, VMC ateliers autorisés, Ram-Ko Vitres d’autos, Unipro Auto Glass, and Go Glass.
