As Head of Engineering, Cook will be responsible for partnering with brokers to drive new opportunities and growth in this space. Cook joined Allianz over 17 years ago and has filled multiple roles within the organization. Prior to this appointment, he served as head of engineering for regional unit London since 2012. Cook began his career as a claims broker for Sedgwick International and then gained further experience working for a variety of organizations, including Cigna and Assurance General de France in London.

As the Team Leader of Programs in the West Zone, Thomas will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies. At AGCS, programs business is defined as groups of similar clients in search of differentiated products and services. He will also lead a team of experienced underwriters in generating profitable new and renewal business. Tobel joins AGCS from Samsung Fire & Marine where he established and built the Northwest business. Prior to this, he served as middle market sales underwriter for The Hartford, specializing in multi-line package and workers compensation production underwriter for technology, life science and renewable energy accounts.
