Auto and homeowners insurance solutions provider belairdirect was rated highest for its exceptional customer satisfaction in the Atlantic/Ontario and Quebec regions, according to the 2016 J.D Power Canadian Home Insurance Study.

The study, conducted in March and April, assessed over 7,000 home insurance customers on their satisfaction levels with insurers in their respective areas.

The survey found that belairdirect scored the highest among other insurers in both regions for its policy offerings and the way it handles billing and payment.

"We are very proud to have reached this highest ranking for customer satisfaction in the Atlantic/Ontario and Quebec regions, considering that this recognition covers all aspects of the customers' journey," remarked Intact Financial Corporation Service and Distribution president Louis Gagnon.

"At belairdirect, we pride ourselves on delivering consistent and exceptional service with simple and innovative products. This is an integral part of our business strategy and we are honoured that our clientele has recognized it."

A subsidiary of major property and casualty insurance provider Intact Financial Corporation, belairdirect was the first P&C insurer in the world to sell its car insurance products online. The company was founded in 1955, and currently employs more than 1,600 people.
