Both companies have been involved with the annual event, now in its third year, since 2015.

This year’s Coldest Night of the Year Walk hopes to raise $80,000, to be used to cover the costs of a new roof for Grace Place Ministries. The ministry has been in operation for nine years connecting individuals in need with social services. Grace Place also provides free clothing and emergency food hampers, as well as serving hot meals.

According to a release, Grace Place has served a total of 290,000 meals – with 45,000 meals served last year alone.

Those interested in participating in the event are invited to either sign up as individuals or as part of a team. Participants may also indicate the distance of their charity walk, completing either a two-kilometer, five-kilometer or 10-kilometer trek.
