Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services (iA Financial) announced yesterday that it has appointed Jocelyne Bourgon as chair of its board of directors.
Bourgon, who has been a member of the iA Financial board of directors since May 2014, and its vice-chair since May 2016, replaces the previous chair John LeBoutillier. LeBoutillier retired from his position, effective yesterday.

A release noted that Bourgon has served some of the highest offices in the Canadian Public Service, been deputy minister of various economic development departments, clerk of the Privy Council and secretary to the cabinet.
She also possesses extensive international experience, having served entities such as the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the UN and the Commonwealth. Additionally, Bourgon is an Officer of the Order of Canada.
