QBE, which operates globally including Canada and the US, said this week its North American operation has appointed Daniel Franzetti as chief claims officer.
Franzetti will be based in New York and tasked to lead QBE North America’s claims function. He will also sit as a member of the executive management board and report to the CEO, Dave Duclos.
With almost 20 years experience in the insurance industry, Franzetti has served as chief claims officer for
Zurich Australia Insurance. Prior to this, he was an SVP for
Zurich’s Claims Technical Shared Services in North America. He was also previously head of global claims vendor management for
Zurich.
Franzetti obtained his MBA from Rutgers University-Newark and holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School.
