Digital HR and group health insurance platform Rise People has announced that Brigitte Parent, a former senior vice-president of Group Benefits at Sun Life Financial Canada, has joined its advisory board.

Parent joined Sun Life in 1995, where she has built up her extensive experience as a senior leader for the company’s Canadian and global businesses. She was most recently SVP of Group Benefits, and she was also SVP of Individual Insurance and Wealth for Canada.
In addition, she was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women by The Women’s Executive Network in 2015.
