The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) is inviting brokers to attend an Auckland Seminar and Expo which will be held on May 11, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza.

Attendance comes at no cost and CPD points are available from ANZIIF and IBANZ.

The seminar will feature Paul Ash, director, National Cyber Policy Office (NCPO), Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, who will speak on cyber security matters in New Zealand, the government’s approach, and the role of the insurance industry in addressing the issue.

The seminar will be followed by the Expo, which will see UAC members presenting their specialist products and services to NZ brokers.

UAC GM William Legge said the combined seminar and expo will provide UAC member agencies a perfect opportunity to showcase their products and services to Kiwi brokers, while also giving brokers and agency staff a chance to grow professionally.

“This is a great chance for our NZ-based members to interact directly with brokers, and several Australian-based members will also exhibit,” he said.

“We expect to see a large turnout of brokers to this combined seminar and expo.”
