If you’ve ever had a lunchtime or latte disaster just before a big meeting, the latest launch from BizCover could have you covered.

The firm has announced the launch of professional attire insurance, designed to protect clients from a sudden sartorial disaster.

The cover is split into five categories of coverage, and the innovative broker is aiming at all Australian businesses.

The Hard Yakka package is aimed at tradies and occupations requiring safety gear, while the Artisan package targets the one-of-a-kind hipster and includes beard and hair styling cover.

The Wintour package is aimed at the higher end of town with cover for designer couture clothing and accessories with a policyholders’ Instagram page used to help coordinate replacement outfits.

The Minimalist package is for the Steve Jobs type who has more important things to think about than their wardrobe, while the Stay Classy package will provide a replacement high-end suit in any colour with optional accessories such as a waistcoat, suspenders and bow tie.

When disaster strikes, clients can contact a specialist hotline, state their name and whereabouts and replacement clothes will be delivered within an hour for CBD locations and three hours for outer suburbs.

Michael Gottlieb, managing director of BizCover, thinks the sky is the limit for the cover.

“We hope that someday soon we can harness drone technology to bring packages to anyone in Australia within minutes,” Gottlieb said.

“We are always trying to innovate and change the face of business insurance and this is a great step in the right direction.”

With cover starting for as little as $100 a month for the Minimalist package, and up to $10,000 a month for the Wintour couture package, all clients can be covered under the revolutionary policy.

Brokers are advised to get in quick though as the policy is only available tomorrow, until midday….
