IAG has announced that non-executive Director Alison Deans has announced her intention to retire from the company’s board.

Deans has been with IAG Board since 2013 and has served on various company teams, including the audit, people and remuneration and nomination committees.

Deans’ retirement, which will be after the annual general meeting of the company in October, will allow her to rebalance her board portfolio.

“I thank Alison for her dedicated service and contribution to IAG through her experience with the digital economy, and wish her well for the future,” IAG Chairman Elizabeth Bryan said.

As part of its on-going board renewal process, IAG said the company will continue in identifying new directors with skills and experience to complement the board, as it continues to oversee the company’s future growth.
