New Zealand’s third-largest insurance broking group, NZbrokers, has announced the appointment of John Davison as its new technical manager.

Davison brings with him significant experience and local knowledge, having worked in various senior leadership positions at NZI over the past 37 years. He will take over from Wayne Quinlan by the end of the year.

“NZbrokers is well on the journey of growth and expansion,” Davison said. “Coupled with my experience and strong passion for growing the industry, this position is beneficial to all.”

NZbrokers chief executive officer Jo Mason said the company was excited to have Davison as an addition to their rapidly expanding group.

“The NZbrokers strategy has continued to progress strongly over the past 12 months, and this appointment will be a critical resource that will help plan and deliver the next phase of our growth,” Mason said.
