Insurance broker Lycetts has appointed Emily Young (pictured) as financial adviser to specialise in life and protection insurance.

The new addition to Lycetts’ financial services division was previously an adviser for MetLife and Bespoke Financial. Young is joining Lycetts’ office in Newcastle.

The financial services provider said Young, who has built an enviable reputation for her industry expertise, will enable the division to further strengthen its service offering. Young’s areas of expertise include fostering customer loyalty and supporting local individuals’ financial needs.

“The fact that Lycetts develops and nurtures long-standing, personal relationships with its clients makes it a great match for career ambitions,” she said.

According to Young, that’s what attracted her to Lycetts – its rapport and relationship between the firm’s consultants and its clients, not to mention the quality of service the company strives to provide.

Meanwhile, Lycetts’ managing director of financial services Simon Landale said Young is considered a rising star in the industry. “We look forward to having her on board.”

Lycetts offers farm, estate, commercial, and bloodstock insurance. It also provides wealth management and financial services advice to business, executive, and personal clients.
