“Claire’s an experienced claims practitioner with a strong academic and professional background in equine science and the bloodstock industry,” Robinson said.

“She has strong and established connections with all the counterparties involved in claims handing,” Robinson added. “We think she’ll be a great addition to the team.”

Lane has been in the industry for 14 years, including nearly a decade at Willis subsidiary and bloodstock insurance broker Hughes Gibb, where she most recently worked as equestrian claims manager.

She holds a degree in equine science and is currently pursuing graduate studies in veterinary physiotherapy.
