Allianz announces new claims major loss manager

Allianz Insurance has appointed long-time executive Bob Dawson to the role of claims major loss manager.

 

In his new role, Dawson will be responsible for the major loss and multi-track motor and casualty claims handling teams, including complex disease and the rehabilitation team.

 

Dawson, who has worked at Allianz for 11 years, most recently held the position of technical claims manager. He previously worked in the major loss team following its formation in 2007.

Ibi Moghraby, head of claims experience and customer strategy at Allianz, praised Dawson for his “excellent technical pedigree” and industry experience of more than 27 years.

 

Dawson is also “very active” in representing Allianz at industry forums and committees including as a member of the Motor Insurers Bureau’s technical committee,” Moghraby said.

 

“Bob has established himself as an effective technical leader and I have every confidence he will be a great success in this role,” he added.
