Allied World announces new vice president in London

Latest recruit will be responsible for the oversight and expansion of the firm’s existing financial institutions portfolio

Allied World Assurance has recruited a new London-based leader in the form of Jacqueline Hall-Shaw from Travelers Insurance.
 
Hall-Shaw has been appointed as vice president of professional lines. She will report to Martin Heathfield, senior vice president of professional lines.
 
Hall-Shaw will be responsible for the oversight and expansion of Allied World’s existing financial institutions portfolio as well as the development of the team, according to Julian James, the company’s president of global markets.
 
“At Allied World, we continue to invest in our people to stay ahead of our clients’ evolving needs, and Jacqueline’s knowledge and expertise make her the ideal appointment to head our financial institutions offering,” James said.
 
Bringing in over 15 years of industry experience, Hall-Shaw joins from Travelers Insurance, where she was head of financial institutions.
 
She previously held roles at Axis Specialty Europe, Brit Insurance and Liberty Mutual.
