ArgoGlobal swoops for Hiscox underwriter

New face will take senior position at firm as company looks to meet demand for specialist product

ArgoGlobal, the Lloyd’s insurer and member of Argo Group, today announced the appointment of Hiscox development underwriter Jennifer Boatman as senior livestock underwriter. She takes up her role with immediate effect and will report to John Moffatt, head of specialty. 

Boatman brings more than a decade of experience in the livestock sector to ArgoGlobal. At Hiscox she played a key role in the significant growth of the portfolio, which included livestock, professional indemnity, cyber liability, management liability, and commercial property insurance. Prior to this she served as a livestock and property & casualty underwriter for Amlin Plc. She also began her career as an underwriting assistant for Crowe Livestock Underwriting Ltd.
