Specialist managing general agent
Ascent Underwriting has named a new claims director in the form of Mark Bowers, who comes from
Tokio Marine Kiln.
Reporting to Ascent CEO David Umbers, Bowers will maintain and develop Ascent’s claims service, bringing over a decade of legal and technical claims experience.
“As Ascent continues to expand its underwriting proposition it is paramount that claims excellence is maintained,” Umbers said.
“Mark’s expertise and technical ability will advance our first-rate client service and strengthen our exceptional claims proposition.”
Bowers previously served as head of financial and professional risks at Tokio Marine Kiln. His areas of expertise include international coverage disputes, technical claims and business transformation projects.
A solicitor by profession, Bowers also used to practice in the re/insurance department of an international law firm.
