Aviva relaunches its high net worth division with Aviva Private Clients
Major British insurer Aviva has relaunched its high net worth insurance division as Aviva Private Clients, in an effort to provide brokers a dedicated and customized underwriting service for the growing number of high net worth individuals in the UK.

The new team of regionally-aligned underwriters will be headed by managing director Adam Beckett. The existing suite of insurance products will be improved to feature flexible and tailored cover as well as a bespoke claims service with a dedicated claims adviser for each client.

The high net worth and mass affluent insurance markets have grown in the past few years and is seen to increase further. Forecasts see it reaching almost one-third (29%) of the UK population by the end of 2017. Aviva Private Clients aims to be a major player in these markets.

Beckett commented on the relaunch, saying, “Aviva has long had a presence in the high net worth sector and a desire to be market leaders. That desire is stronger than ever which is why we’re making changes to help achieve our ambition of being a real competitor in the market – by offering our brokers a flexible and expert service from a name they can trust.”
