Beginning in April next year, AXA will launch a new training programme aimed at boosting the brightest young insurance brokers from across the industry.

Accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute, it will feature two seminars in Paris and will bring together a host of up and coming intermediaries while focusing on topics such as the role of technology, managing millennials and flexible working.

According to an AXA release, the scheme is designed to give tomorrow’s leaders confidence to take on the insurance market of the future with brokers able to gain insight into innovation and the possibilities that insurtech can offer.

“The Broker Future programme is aimed at engaging with young brokers to get them thinking about the future of our industry,” said Brendan McCafferty, CEO, AXA Insurance, Intermediated and Direct. “The insurance industry is undergoing great change and may look very different in the next 20 to 30 years. We want to work closely with the insurance brokers of tomorrow so we are both ready for what lies ahead.”

The two three-day seminars take place from April 02-04 and November 12-14, 2018.
