Essex-based broker Aston Scott has teamed up with Lutine Assurance Services to provide group and business protection to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The two companies recently signed an agreement that will see Lutine’s specialist products, such as key man and group life, being offered to Aston Scott’s SME client base.

“We have been seeking solutions to enable us to provide added-value products,” said Aston Scott Group CEO Peter Blanc.

“The partnership with Lutine will enable us to improve our competitive edge and give something extra to our SME clients,” he added.

Lutine business director Andy Coles said the new deal enables the company to extend its niche and specialist proposition.

“We are already writing SME and key man through their branches, but also exploring new revenue streams, including high net worth health products,” he said.

Coles added that Lutine is focused on developing its niche and specialist strategy in the life and commercial market, as well as through its existing property and casualty distribution arm in the UK.

“We have been seeking solutions to enable us to provide added-value products. The partnership with Lutine will enable us to improve our competitive edge and give something extra to our SME clients.”
