In what many see as a challenging business climate, one broker is continuing to grow its high-street presence, despite a trend for closures.
Coversure, which has over 90 franchised offices in the country, has announced that its network is to further expand.

Family-owned Coversure Brighton will open a new office in Crawley, the firm announced yesterday, a move that comes just a month after its Keighley office expanded by opening a new office in Bingley.

Nick Elliman, Coversure’s head of franchise recruitment & acquisitions, told Insurance Business that the broker is continuing its growth by both opening new offices as well as supporting its existing offices in their growth aspirations.

“Our franchisees are all experienced broking professionals giving great service and quality advice to their customers on a wide range of business and personal insurances,” Elliman said.

“Our job as the franchisor is to give them the products and support they need to meet the current and future demands of these customers and to support them in winning new ones,” he added.

On the recent expansion of the Brighton business, Elliman commented: “Coversure Brighton has been looking after the insurance needs of people and businesses in Brighton and beyond for a number of years now.

“We are delighted to support them in the set-up of their new business in Crawley so that they can provide the same high level of service and advice to the Crawley area.”

At its recent conference, Coversure described its plan for franchise growth as not about ‘pins in the map’, but about creating a sustainable, profitable business.

The recent office openings are testament to this strategy, the firm said in a release.
