Independent insurance brokerage firm Bell & Co has announced its plan to relocate to its new office in Derbyshire, a move it hopes will improve the company’s operations.

The broker will move to the new Media Centre complex of the Derbyshire County Cricket Club, a state-of-the-art building funded by a £2 million grant from the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) with bridging finance supplied by Derby City Council.

“This is a fantastic move for Bell & Co. When we set out our relocation plan, key features for us were the quality of the working environment, an image to match our professional approach, great amenities for our growing team on site and ease of access with parking for our clients, staff and insurers,” said Bell & Co managing director Richard Salt.

“With this move, we have exceeded our targets in all these areas with a club who are a true partner for us. We believe we have secured the best new office space in our Derbyshire heartland and we are all very proud and excited about our future,” Salt added.

Bell & Co will transfer to its new office in September, occupying the fourth floor of the Media Centre.
