CEGA Group, a provider of travel assistance, risk management and claims services, has appointed Mike Flippance to lead its retail and international private health insurance services. The move complements the appointment of Chris Knight as head of corporate services last month.
Flippance has over 20 years of expertise in travel and health insurance, with focus on claims and medical assistance management. He also has expertise in operational management, process re-engineering and cost control.
Previously, Flippance was head of medical assistance and claims for MAPFRE Asistencia in Madrid, Spain. He has also served as international projects manager at
AXA Travel Insurance and head of travel claims and assistance for
AIG.
