Major insurer Chubb has identified the new leaders of its European property and casualty risk engineering team.
Paul Brooke will serve as head of P&C risk engineering services, leading a team of 64 risk engineers located in 10 countries in Europe.
Based in Manchester, Brooke will report to Raimund Navakas, senior vice president and risk engineering services manager for Chubb's international operations.
Reporting to Brooke will be Tom Newark, P&C risk engineering services manager in the UK and Ireland; Heiner Eckhardt, P&C risk engineering services manager in northern continental Europe; and Rafael Andres, P&C risk engineering services manager in southern continental Europe.
Based in London, Newark will also serve as P&C risk engineering services quality assurance manager for Chubb's international operations.
Heiner will be based in Hamburg and will lead a team of 23 risk engineers across five nations. Meanwhile, Andres will be based in Madrid and will head a unit of 15 risk engineers in three countries.
The European team offers risk engineering and loss control services including risk evaluation reviews, best practices consulting, infrared thermographic scanning and customised programmes for risk management.
"This world-class leadership team brings together the very best of our legacy organisations' skills and capabilities,” said Andrew Kendrick, regional president for Chubb in Europe.
“With companies across Europe facing a challenging, and increasingly unpredictable, risk environment, our team will ensure we align our risk engineering capabilities to meet our clients' changing needs,” he added.
