Global insurer Chubb has appointed UK-based executive Donna Dorairajoo as the new regional manager for travel, accident and health insurance in Europe, Eurasia and Africa.

In her new role, Dorairajoo will lead the growth and profitable development of Chubb’s leisure travel business across the geographical regions.

Dorairajoo will continue to be based in Birmingham, reporting to Drazen Jaksic, senior vice president, accident and health for Chubb in Europe and Eurasia and Africa.

Jaksic said: “Donna will bring her long experience in the sector and her successful track record in building new business partnerships and will play a crucial role in further evolving our travel proposition and expanding our market presence.”

Dorairajoo has 17 years of airline and insurance industry experience. She joined ACE in 2012 and most recently served as head of travel business development for Chubb in Europe, Eurasia and Africa.

Before moving to the UK, Dorairajoo also held management roles within Chubb’s travel insurance division in the Asia Pacific region.

Earlier in her career, Dorairajoo was involved in the launch of three low cost airlines and held senior management roles at British Midland Group and Tiger Airways.
