A veteran in the financial lines arena who held top executive roles at
Zurich has joined the Lloyd’s syndicate of Everest Re Group.
The company has appointed Christian Colombera as head of financial lines for Everest Syndicate 2786. He will report to the syndicate’s active underwriter.
"Christian’s global background and experience will serve us well as we look to grow our Financial Lines business,” said Daryl Bradley, executive vice president and head of international.
“He is a strong addition to the Syndicate’s underwriting management team with a recognized voice in the Financial Lines arena.”
Colombera came from Zurich Insurance Group where he served as global underwriting manager, financial lines. He was responsible for portfolio management, professional liability business, underwriting strategy, strategic broker and customer relationship management.
At Zurich, Colombera also served as a member of the special lines management team, European head and chief underwriting officer of financial institutions, head of financial institutions for UK and vice president of the mergers and acquisitions group.
Colombera also worked at
AIG as vice president of financial lines and West Australian financial lines manager.
