Insurance law firm EC3\Legal has introduced its new business support and advice service for businesses in the UK insurance industry.

The company said EC3\Insurance Consulting aims to meet the industry’s needs that are currently not addressed by existing providers.

From supporting start-ups to advising on corporate transactions, the new service provides a comprehensive range of commercial, contractual, regulatory governance and product advice and support for insurance businesses at all stages of their development and growth.

Sara Ager, who joined the company earlier this year as a legal director, will head EC3\Insurance Consulting. She has gained over 17 years of industry experience from law firms, London and Lloyd’s market insurers and MGA businesses.

Ager said: “The combination of consulting and legal services that EC3\Legal and EC3\Insurance Consulting now offers means we have the expertise and capabilities needed to bridge the gap between legal and regulatory principle and the practical needs of the modern insurance business. This move reflects our desire to work with our clients throughout their business journey.”

EC3\Legal founding partner David Coupe said the launch of the new service is a “natural progression in the development of our relationship with the insurance industry.”

“In Sara we have leadership of the consulting business and clear evidence of our commitment to the level of expertise and service quality we are bringing to the industry across all aspects of the service offering,” Coupe said.
