There is a new member of the eastern board of the Chartered Management Institute – with the leader of a top independent real estate insurance broker earning a place at the top.

Brett Sainty, CEO and Co-Founder of Property Insurance Initiatives (Pii), will take on the role of Professional Bodies Champion with responsibilities including developing relations with professional bodies; liaising with partnerships team; and assisting with the delivery of the annual operating plan.
Speaking about his appointment, Sainty outlined the importance of establishing high standards in the industry.

“I am delighted to be joining the Eastern Board of the CMI and look forward to making a significant contribution in my role, taking care of professional bodies,” he said. “I have been a member of the CMI for 10 years and really value the contribution that it makes to developing and improving management and leadership in organisations.

“I have a core ambition to lead a business that people want to work for, as well as always being a trusted advisor to clients. Equally important though is maintaining high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility, wherever we do business.”

Brett Sainty has over 25 years’ experience in the City of London, having worked for leading insurers, Lloyds and top tier brokers. Following study sponsorship provided by the insurance industry, Brett gained a management degree, and ultimately ‘Chartered’ status and fellowship membership of the CMI.

Pii is an independent property insurance broker across the UK and continental Europe.
