Westfield Health, an insurance provider to blue-chip companies and private and public sector organisations, is set to relocate to a new headquarters later this week.

The insurer has announced that it will transfer to its new office at 60 Charter Row
in Sheffield, South Yorkshire on Thursday and Friday, September 15 and 16.

As part of the office move, the company’s current office will be closed from 6pm on Thursday to Friday. The new headquarters will be formally opened on Monday, September 19.

The insurer’s IT systems will also be shut down from 6pm on Friday to facilitate the transfer to the new office building. Telephone lines will be closed while the company website, email and online account manager My Westfield will temporarily go offline.

Westfield Health will be using a mail forwarding service for a period of time to ensure that written correspondence will reach the new office.

“After many years in our current office, our move date is now almost here… We’re working hard to keep disruption to an absolute minimum,” the company said on its website.

The insurance firm has been headquartered at 87 Division Street since 1973. Executive director Julie Gill previously said that their long-time office would require “substantial investment and development” to meet the company’s needs.

“After carefully weighing up the options, we’ve concluded it’s more practical and cost-effective to move to a larger home,” she said. “Our new building will be more energy efficient and have improved facilities for our customers and employees.”
