British insurance giant LV= recently announced today the appointment of Jon Mansley as head of digital strategy and proposition.

In his new post, Mansley will focus on guiding the company’s digital transformation initiatives to provide improved services to its general insurance customers.

Mansley, who came on board LV= on November 14, will report to digital transformation director Heather Smith.

He will head the customer service and relations transformation roadmap and strategy across both general insurance direct and broker business lines, including its claims function, with specific focus on digital assets and customer opportunities.

Mansley has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, and was previously employed by Aviva.

“General insurance is evolving quickly and I look forward to helping LV= strengthen its digital proposition to ensure we are meeting customers’ needs and changing habits, while continuing to deliver quality service,” Mansley commented.
