Specialist Lloyd’s insurer Marketform has appointed industry veteran Martin Kelsh to the newly created role of production and distribution director.

Kelsh joined the company on May 3 and will be reporting to Darren Lednor, chief underwriting officer.

In his new role, Kelsh will be tasked to develop and improve the level of engagement with Marketform’s key brokers.

He will work closely with Marketform’s underwriting teams and their brokers to enhance product offering and service standard.

Kelsh will also work with group CEO Martin Reith to build strategic relationships with Marketform’s business producers.

“I am delighted to welcome Martin into this newly created role. As Marketform goes through this transformational change, it is vital that we reposition ourselves so that we have a good and keen understanding of the market,” Reith said.

“Strong, informed relationships are pivotal in today’s market and Martin’s track record of delivery and longstanding relationships will further enhance our momentum,” he added.

Before joining Marketform, Kelsh spent five years with JLT, where he most recently served as group coordinator for carrier relations.

Kelsh has over 30 years of experience in client management within the insurance industry and has held a number of roles focused on global relationships.
